She and her co-founder are happily married, and split their time between Monterey, California and Pittsburgh, PA. A graduate of Smith College, Kathryn also earned a Master of Public Administration, with a focus on behavioral economics and finance, from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy. Prior to founding Apollo, she helped develop and launch a $20M tech commercialization accelerator through the NY State Energy Research & Development Authority. Kathryn Fantauzzi is the co-founder & CEO of Apollo Neuroscience, the company that developed and launched the first scientifically-validated wearable technology that actively improves energy, focus & sleep. Her goal is to help participants think and reflect on the non-linearity of career paths and finding one’s own definition of success. Fluent in Turkish, English, and French, Beren considers herself a global citizen. She studied at boarding high schools in Istanbul, Turkey and Maastricht, Netherlands. She has collaborated with private investors to establish and grow the company from scratch.īeren was born and raised in Southeastern Turkey. After graduation, Beren was appointed as the CEO of Beepin, Inc., a startup that aims to revolutionize the freight industry. She also worked as a research assistant to the former Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey. Before graduation, she completed finance related internships at TD Securities NYC, Ford Motor Company, and Turkey’s Prime Ministry Undersecretariat of Treasury. At 30, she was named New England Women Business Owners youngest-ever Woman of the Year. After spending 18 months in advertising, Suzy Becker founded The Widget Factory, a socially responsible greeting card company.
